I come to Excel with a college degree from UW- Madison and 4 years experience. I am a certified personal trainer through the American Fitness Professionals and Associates. Beginning a workout routine can help to change your lifestyle, not just a quick, short-term fix. I know that it can be especially hard to stick to your fitness goals when you are trying to do it all alone. I am here to help you reach your goals - I enjoy helping others to become fit and healthy. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, with a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology from Marquette University. I was a 4-year varsity soccer athlete at Marquette, which has helped me learn how to stay motivated to live a healthy and fit lifestyle. Being apart of a team environment for many years, I believe that it takes the abilities of every member to accomplish your goals. I like to take this same approach with my clients. In order to achieve an optimal fitness, the client and the trainer must form a strong relationship and work together as a team. My goal is to help others find the motivation to make healthy lifestyle choices  as well as improve their endurance, strength and flexibility. Through my experiences as a personal trainer, I have learned how to teach and execute proper exercise technique as well as prescribe exercise to meet the specific goals of each client. In order to optimize ones health, I am devoted to helping clients reach their goals by creating a positive, personable and fun environment. Yoshi Barnes has been an athlete since she was younger, from basketball, gymnastics, track, softball, and volleyball. She went on to college on a basketball scholarship at San Jose State University which is where she found her passion for exercise and fitness. In May of 2010 she became a certified personal trainer through International Sport Science Association and is continuing to gain more knowledge about fitness. She emphasizes in vitality & health, weight management, sports enhancement and kickboxing. “I enjoy changing lives and taking journeys with people”. Myosha says. She looks forward to helping people, working hard, and getting results. Myosha enjoys playing basketball, watching football and reading, spending time with family and changing lives one workout at a time.
